On the way home from the museum today - we ran into a small pack of Trabants. They were the number one car in East Germany - when the Wall was up.
The car had a steel frame with a plastic body - 2 cycle engine. In this group - the green and white one had an electric engine installed. People in Berlin love the Nostalgia of the car - for 30 years it was all they could buy.
There were 4 million Trabants - I wonder how many people were conceived in a Trabant.
