This is our dining room - note old coal fireplace.
This is our living room - windows to street on main floor.

The kitchen has glass on three sides - door to back yard.
One of the bedrooms sleeps 3.
Two more bedrooms - sleep 2 each.
2 bathrooms
Front door of 12 Bedford Place.

We are busy at home - packing for our trip to London. Lulu teaches a wonderful three week class there for FSU and they take good care of us.

This year we got a fantastic apartment - 3 bedrooms - 2 baths - kitchen - living room - dining room - porch - back yard. You may re-call that last year we lived in an efficiency apartment. This year - I could hit the British Museum with a baseball thrown from our front door.

We got the larger apartment with the intention of entertaining guests - and we have not been let down.

Lulu and I fly at 1:30 PM tomorrow - Tuesday - arriving in London on Wednesday. Lulu just checked our flight and "coach" is booked solid - but there are 4 empty seats in first class. I hope we get bumped - Lulu hopes we get upgraded to first class.

Wednesday - Drew - Robin - and Jack arrive from Boston. Keith also flies in on the same day from Washington. Just like that - the apartment will be full. Then we will all be there for 11 full days!

No sooner than our kids leave - the real adult action starts. Two of Nancy's best friends - Marylou Zimmerman and Jean Freed are coming for a week. Long ago - these ladies formed a play group. Jean - Marylou - and Nancy each had two kids that played together while the adults discussed the benefits of breast feeding. All the kids graduated from college - and they have 5 grandchildren.

Lulu's FSU graduate class will meet every weekday from 9 to 5. They will tour London while learning to use multi-media in their classrooms. Emphasis will be on - photography - videography - web page production - photoshop - desktop publication - and library and literature history. They will visit many classic tourist spots like Stonehenge - Westminster Abbey - Oxford - Hampton Court - and the Tower of London. A highlight will be the train to Paris through the English Channel Tunnel along with a cruise along the Seine River with stops at Notre Dame Cathedral and the Eiffel Tower. Students will receive six graduate credits. The students are from all over the USA. This is third summer that Lulu is offering the course.

And I will carry her bags.
