Jack's first "car seat free" ride
Harry first saw The Rolling Stone on November 26, 1969 - in the Spectrum in Philadelphia - now he had lunch at their place in West London.
Mum Mum - Jack - Mom on a taxi ride.
Jack loves the dinosaurs at the Museum of Natural History - next to Victoria and Albert Museum.
An animated dinosaur has the attention of my three sons.
Jack enjoyed riding in a cab without being tied down. Safely rules are a little less restrictive here - sitting 6 in the back of a cab seems less restricting without car seats and seat belts.
Our first stop was lunch at Sticky Fingers - a small restaurant owned by Bill Wyman of The Rolling Stones. It features the best smoked ribs in London - and I had them. The walls are covered with pictures - poster - albums - and instruments of the Rolling Stones - even though Wyman left the group in 1989. Included were 12 gold albums for records selling over $1,000,000 worth. This was a big deal in the 60s - when I purchased new albums for $2.39.
The Natural History Museum in South Kensington provided a glimpse of the past with tons of dinosaur fossils.
After that - we walked part way home via Hyde Park where we played and fed the ducks. We finished with a short tube ride home.
Keith is already zonked out but Robin and Drew are going out to Marlborough Arms - our favorite pub. Lulu met her class there for supper this evening - but now she is home to watch Jack --- with me.
What an great ending to such a beautiful day.
"Goodnight Jack Boy."
