Harry Took A Job As A Model - What Is A Free Haircut Worth?

Barber - Did you get your money's worth?

Penny Lane there is a barber showing photographs
Of every head he's had the pleasure to know
And all the people that come and go
Stop and say "Hello"

Lulu leaves me with a few simple tasks every day. Today I was to find hearing aid batteries and get a haircut. My job is to get things done cheaply and find an angle for a story.

There was a sign out in front of the barbershop - looking for haircut models. You got a free haircut - if you let supervised students cut you. Take a look and see what you think of the job they did. I say- the difference between a good haircut and a bad one is two weeks.

You tell the barber how you want it cut - and then he cuts them all the same it seems.

Do I have to claim the haircut on my - Tax Form 1040?

The narrowboats behind our hotel.
We could have lived there - excellent camper
This little cafe was on the back of a Piaggio Vespa scooter.
It had a stove and running water. A camper with no
place to sleep.
We have had great weather - mostly sunny and 50s. No rain yet.

On Wednesday we plan to ride the Master Cutler - an express train from Sheffield to London. It is supposed to reach speeds of 155 MPH - take 2 hours.

WOMEN OF STEEL
During World War I and II - Sheffield
was the Arsenal for the Crown. Women
took over the furnaces as the men went to war.
They were really tall.
On the city square were memorials to war dead.
