Tomorrow it will be 52 years since Lulu and I were married. To celebrate this happy day - yesterday we booked a trip to Dollywood. We have never been there. Dollywood has been selected the top theme park in the USA by Trip Advisor. We will not challenge the criteria.
Today - we will fly from Tallahassee to Atlanta to Knoxville on Delta Airlines. We will drive a rental car the last 40 miles to the Hilton Hotel in Pigeon Forge. We will spend 3 nights at that luxury hotel and enjoy the scenery of the Great Smoky Mountains.
We will return home on Monday in time for 2 main events. First - Tesla Service will be at our home to replace the low voltage battery in our red car. Second - Tuesday will start the construction of our new swimming pool in the back yard. Other options may include a guest house - a sliding glass pool enclosure - and home solar system to power the house and heat the pool.
The best decision I made in my life is marrying my lovely bride. I am not sure she can say the same. To paraphrase Jefferson - the harder she works - the luckier I am. It has truly been an E Ticket ride.
