I am at Duxford - took the express to Cambridge and bus to air base. I found a deal. 16 pounds for admission and bus. It is 25 minutes to base. There are 8. Yes 8. Giant hangars full of 200 planes. They are so packed it is hard to take pix. I only went through one so far. Lighting is poor. Should have super wide lens.
During war US bombers were stationed here. Also the P-51 Mustangs. It is a big wide square grassy field. They used to land in dirt. 7 more buildings to go. Lots of pix. Weather is perfect. I figure lots of Americans will come here for Olympics. Free wifi.
