Our Pacific Sunset In Costa Rica

We are in Santa Cruz - as far west as our Costa Rica trip takes us. We will now drive back toward our airport at San Jose - flying home Tuesday.

The sunset view above was Friday night. Now it is Saturday morning. Lulu is back to her favorite pool. This pool easily would cover our entire 1.5 acre lot back home. It would take my two checks every month just to heat it.

The next two nights will be spent in Monteverde. Night 3 will be spent in San Jose. Lulu always books a hotel by the airport for the night before we fly. That way - we get rid of the rental car the day before - and tie up all loose ends. This time - a very important loose end is a covid test. You must present a valid 3-day fresh covid test or they will not let you on the plane. Back at home in Tallahassee we have gotten 3 covid tests for free. I doubt that will be the case here.

Down here on the coast the temperature has been in the 90s all three days. When we get up in Monteverde in the mountains - we will be at 4300 feet above sea level. So the daytime temperature will be about 16 degrees cooler.

We will spend two nights in a cabin  in Monteverde. It has a bedroom - kitchen - living room - bath room. We still stop for some groceries on the way there.
