Note added - October 11, 2012 - I put the coupon on craigslist - and a Emily from San Diego bought it for $175.

Leave It To Beaver House at Southwood in Southeast Tallahassee
This 4000 square foot house is listed for sale at Southwood for $650,000. It has a very nice landscaped lot overlooking the main lake. I can't imagine what the real estate taxes are.
It reminds me of the classic home in "Leave It To Beaver" and "Ozzie and Harriet" - maybe a rich man's "The Walton's."
To think I raised a family of 4 in 1000 square feet for 30 years.
How About a Jaguar V12?
This 1991 Jaguar V-12 looks brand new.
It has a beautiful leather interior with real wood trim.
The alloy wheels and Pirelli tires are stock.
NADA says it is worth $21,000 retail.
I am selling a beautiful sports car - the 1991 Jaguar XJS V-12 Collectors Edition. It is black with tan top and interior. It has documented 54,500 miles on it. This has been a Florida car all its life. First it was owned by a doctor in Marianna - then in 2004 - sold to the present owner. In 2004 - when the second owner got it - it had 42,000 miles on it. This first owner put 42,000 miles on it in 13 years - the second owner put 12,000 miles on it in 8 years. All in all it has been a garaged and pampered baby - the full maintenance records make that clear. In fact the major 60,000 miles service has already been done and paid for. Features are - a 285HP V-12 engine - 3 speed automatic - power convertible top - tan leather interior - factory alloy wheels - Perilli tires exactly the same as the factory tires - all maintenance records - complete soft car cover - original bill of sale with a window sticker of $60,000 in 1991. This car has been driven by old guys like the doctor. I am retired and home most of the time - you can come over to see it and we can go for a drive - I'll drive. This car is completely stock and has competed in the North Florida Jaguar Club Concours Division - with documents. NADA says it cost $60,000 new - it is worth $22,000 high retail - with $15,000 average retail. This car is ready to be a show car or a regular daily driver. This car has been always garaged - never wrecked - original paint - no dents. The leather is beautiful - looks like new - no fade or crumple - still smells like a cowhide. I am asking $10,995 - I will not negotiate until you see it. I will listen to all offers - it is never an insult when someone offers you cash. I will take a check if we can do it at the your bank. A classic is defined as something that holds up against daily style changes. This car attracts attention wherever you go. Jaguars are sexy - the women love them. The is a legitimate sale.
The trunk is upholstered.
Dual exhausts and 285 HP.
Lots of plumbing on the V-12 engine.
No signs of wear on the leather.
I have the clear Florida title in hand.
This review calls it the most beautiful car ever.
Tallahassee Utilities Named Number One in the Nation
Harry Note - In Tallahassee - we get one utility bill a month. It itemizes your costs for electricity - water - sewer - natural gas - fire protection - garbage - and surface runoff water. Gas - water - electricity each have smart meters that monitor all of your energy usage. Your bill has charts showing how much you have used - and it compares it to average usage - and your usage for the previous year. You can view your usage online - and also the usage at other addresses.

Florida State Clobbers North Carolina State - 3 Game to 0
Lulu and I just got home from the big volleyball match at Tully Gym. The first places in the ACC girls came to town with a 15-2 record - 5-1 in the league. They left the gym in second.
FSU won the first 2 games by just 2 points each - but clubbed the Wolfpack in the final contest 25 to 16.
It is a little solace after last night's football game. NCSU 17 - FSU 16.
The match started at 1 PM and it was over quickly by 2:30.
Noles Get Beat in Raleigh - Keith Was There
From the News Observer
North Carolina State defeats No. 3 Florida State
- The Raleigh News Observer
Heisman Candidate - EJ Manuel
RALEIGH, N.C. - So much for Florida State's national title hopes. The third-ranked Seminoles couldn't even make it out of the ACC.
N.C. State, in an improbable turn-around from a numbing loss to Miami, knocked off the Seminoles, 17-16 at Carter-Finley Stadium on Saturday night in a repeat of history.
The last time the Wolfpack faced Florida State at home? A win.

Obama Is Playing Rope-A-Dope
Mohammed Ali - who some say was the greatest boxer of all time - once used a strategy on George Foreman - called "Rope-a-Dope."
Simply Foreman was a big puncher. He came out swinging for a knockout. Ali leaned back against the ropes and covered himself. He let Foreman punch himself tired. Then in the late rounds - Ali came off the ropes with the saved up energy - and "Down Goes Foreman!"
Obama realizes there are three rounds of debates. The economy is bending in his favor. I think in the third round - Obama will prevail.
Tamaqua Girl Doris Hollenbach Meneses Promotes NASCAR - 'This Old Lady' Wants the NASCAR Buzz Back

I couldn’t spell NASCAR a few short weeks ago. Now, I feel like I could drive in a race. Well, not really, but since I first wrote about our race track, I’ve learned a lot. Homestead/Florida City are home to the biggest auto race of the season.
Last year, the championship that included a number of drivers in multi-million dollar race cars with mega-million dollar sponsors that went down to the final lap at our race track to see who was the grand champion.
Now, I don’t know about all of you, but that is awesome.
I wrote that I really didn’t know what went on ‘out there.’ I really still don’t, but since my column first appeared, the track bosses have made me feel welcome and I am looking forward to the weekend of November 16th-18th (almost) as much as the arrival of my grandbaby next month. I said almost.

Tully Gym Was Full to See Seminole Volleyball Team Clobber Carolina Tar Heels - 3 games to 0
The Seminoles improved their season record to 13 - 2 as they shut out the North Carolina Tar Heels - 3 games to 0. This moves them into second place in the ACC with a 5 - 1 record.
All three games finished within 4 points scoring.
This is the same Seminole team that finished the 2011 season in the NCAA National Final Four. They are also the ACC three-win champions.
Sunday - they play North Carolina State - the team that is in first place with a 5 - 0 record. That game will also be at home in Tully Gym.
Conversion Van Converted
This is our 18 year old Dodge conversion van - converted.
The rear doors open wide to show the 20 gallon water tank - the shower wand - the platform that forms a storage space - and the rear seat fully reclined.
The 20 gallon water tank is filled with hot water from our garage hot water hose bib. This provides 20 minutes of continuous hot showers at 1 gallon per minute. If you use the shower head button - showers can be extended longer. If hot water is needed longer than a day - this tank could be insulated.
The old Dodge conversion van is converted and ready for the road.
In review - I bought this 1994 Dodge Van from the original owner in June. He bought it in 1994 for $35,000. It was his only car for 18 years - his family was moving to Oregon - he was leaving the van behind. It has 109,000 miles on it.
