Flight From Orlando to Los Angeles

We took off from orlando on time. No waiting in line. We used the east runway pointing due north. We made a quick left turn to be going west right over downtown orlando. We pushed up through a layer of clouds and could no longer see the ground. We are in a Boeing 757. We are in seats 43 A and B. I have the window - lulu has a middle seat. The plane is full and has two engines way in front of us. We have an unobstructed view because the wing is in front of us. The tail is way behind us. We are high above a layer of cumulostratus clouds. The sun is behind us in the east. We are looking south. Of course the plane is going due west. I gues it will be like this for 5 hours. Our seat monitor says we are going 517 mph. We will travel 2600 Miles. It will take 5 hours. We are already over the Gulf of Mexico. Just south of Tallahassee now. The map says we will buzz New Orleans. We have gone back in time - we are now in central time and it is earlier than when we took off :-) orlando is 264 Miles behind us. 500 miles an hour! That is about 10 times faster than by camper - let alone stops for food - gas - bathroom - sleep. I met a guy the other day who had the new Tesla Model 3. He had he drove the nifty electric - using the self-drive mode. He did not touch the steering wheel from Tampa to Tallahassee. That is neat. It cost $57,000. It can go 310 Miles on a battery charge. That would be 10+ charged to cross the country.

5 hours later we are safely in LA. Nice flight.

Got some great pictures over Texas oil field. It was cloudy over Arizona.
