It is 4:30 and the Disney Dream departs any minute. We are in room 9009.
We has a nice ride here. We lady home at 7am and got here at 1pm. We stopped on the way in Ocala to see a camper. Trip was 300 miles here.
The Dream is truly a dream. Build in 2011 - the largest of its kind. It holds 4500 people.
We had a great lunch. I hate to sound like a glutton. Lunch included piles of steaks - giant shrimp - crab legs - lamb - you name it.
My favorite is the chocolate and vanilla ocean cream machine on deck.
There are several pools - hot tubs - even a giant glass tube water ride that circles the entire ship.
Our room is really nice with a large bathroom with a shower and a tub.
There is a sports lounge that carries all the games.
Temperature is 80.
Everything is spanking new. We have 3 sit down dinners tonight - tomorrow night - and Sunday night in different venues.
We got a nice deal on the trip. $350 a person. About $90 a day. This includes all entertainment. Meals. Shore activity at Disney island. Parking here is $60. Tips are another $60 added on.
There are several big show rooms showing films and floor shows. The movie Lincoln is running.
There are ships here from carnival. Royal Caribbean. Norwegian. And Disney.
You can see the vehicle assembly building from Kennedy space center here.
We spend tomorrow in Nassau tomorrow. Then Saturday is at disney's private island. Then home Sunday.
We were able to carry our bags on. They did a light scan. They did not check on the many liquids we had. It would have been easy to bring liquor on if we wanted. Check in was fast - all handles digitally. Our card is our room key and credit card. They have several stores - exercise rooms - library - saunas - Etc.
I will prepare a full story with pictures I can up load at McDonald's in NASA.
Last time were we're in Nassau we caught a plane to Cuba in 2001.
Most of the workers are from foreign countries with name tags clearly labeled.
