We have been away from Tallahassee for a week. Friend George Dawson says it has been raining a lot of the time. On Tuesday - we got one inch of rain in one day. This is the rain gauge as proof.
We really need the rain back home. The lake behind our house is only a pond now. The water table is so low that the lake is about 8 feet lower than normal. If we do not get more rain soon - it is going to look like a dried out sink hole. I have been mowing the grass on the lake bed.
