Harry and Lulu Will be in London for the Olympics

Just 3 months from today - Lulu and I will be flying to London. Every summer she teaches a course in London at the FSU Campus. This year we decided to stay on for an extra two weeks to enjoy the city during the Olympics.

FSU provides a very nice apartment of us - we were able to extend the lease two weeks for the biggest event of the year. Florida State shortened their summer session so that they could rent their entire facility of NBC Sports. The main transportation center is going to be located just up the street at Russell Square. The plan are to remove all auto traffic from our street Bedford Place so that it can be a staging area to move people from downtown to the Olympic site about four miles northeast.

Our apartment has three bedrooms and 8 beds. Our entire family will make the trip - my sons and grandkids. Not only do we get to enjoy the icy in the summer - and the Olympics - but we get to do it with family.

Our friend - Cindy Miller - the star Tamaqua Pennsylvania basketball player - also lives in London. She is a vice president for United Parcel Service and she is in charge of the logistics of the entire Olympics.
