The Tallahassee Regional Airport is extending and rehabilitating Runway 18-36, the north-south runway at the Airport. Contractors and subcontractors are being sought to complete this $15 million project. Plans and specifications are available via the online DemandStar system at www.demandstar.com. In support of local and minority firms, a special emphasis is being placed on encouraging these businesses to compete for the work.
“This is the largest project at the Airport since construction of the Ivan Munroe Terminal,” said Director of Aviation Sunil Harman. “The project represents significant opportunities for a variety of contractors including disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE), local minority and women contractors.”
