Jimbo Fisher Picked to Replace Bobby Bowden as Football Coach at FSU......

.......when Bobby decides to retire. Jimbo Fisher  - the present offensive coach - has been hired as coach-in-waiting - and will received a $200,000 pay raise. Also if FSU decides to hire someone else - they will owe Fisher $2.5 million as a buy out.

Bobby Bowden will be able to stay on as long as he wants. He will sign a new one year contract every year in the $2.5 million range.
Fisher will make $600,000 next year.

There are concerns that FSU should do a standard search to get a new head coach. Also the NCAA will be concerned that no attempt was made to interview minority candidates.

According to reports - Bobby Bowden was not in favor of a coach-in-waiting plan. There is also a concern that Fisher has never been a college head coach.
