Tremendous Daytime Fireworks In Valencia Spain Today

Lulu is at a conference in Valencia Spain. While roaming around downtown - we stumbled onto the most amazing set of fireworks we have ever seen. It is Spring CarnivalTime here from March 1st to March 20th. Every day for 20 straight days - they have fireworks at 2 PM right in front of city hall. People are in the streets as far as the eye can see. They are very orderly - no acting up. It goes on for 5 full minutes. There is so much smoke - the sun is blotted out. Then the winds clear it all up fast.

I am not good at counting people but I aim guessing there were over 100,000.

We had just gotten done touring the Valencia Cathedral where the Holy Grail is housed. We then had lunch at a street cafe. We followed the crowd to the courtyard in front of city hall. Then the fireworks.
