Day 1 - Great Flight - Took Rental Car To Hotel in Pasadena

She's the terror of Colorado Boulevard - It's the little old lady from Pasadena. We are all set for the parade tomorrow. Our hotel is on Colorado Boulevard - about 5 miles west of our parade seats.

We were lucky on the way out. Delta upgraded us to First Class seats. It took us 4.5 hours to get here - flying 500 MPH at 40,000 feet. It was very clear all the way across the USA. I got some great shots of - the Mississippi River - Little Rock Arkansas - Amarillo Texas - Santa Fe New Mexico - Ship Rock New Mexico - Meteor Crater Arizona - and Lake Havasu Arizona (home of the London Bridge). Pictures will follow later.

In the map above - our hotel is at A - our parking is at C - and our parade seats are at B.
The parade goes down Colorado Boulevard.

Lulu has wanted to do this for a long time. Since she was going to Hawaii - this is a perfect stopover for 2 nights. Lulu is presenting at a conference - I am flying free on frequent flyer miles.

Tonight - we plan to visit the place where they are putting the flowers on the floats.
