Easter Sunday - We Are Staying Next To Alan Turing's House

Joan's place is the white one building on the left -
the yellow middle one is Alan Turing's old home

Today we celebrated Easter with a Sunday Roast. We went  to Florentino's  - Joan had lamb - Lulu and I had beef. On the way home - we walked past Alan Turing's house. His old home is right next to Joan's place here.

Alan Turing is considered the Father of Digital Computing. During World War II - he designed the computer that broke the German Nazi Enigma Code. They say it shortened World War II by 4 years. The man was a real genius - in a world that uses the term lightly. The movie - The Imitation Game - was his life story.

This section of London is called Little Venice next to Maida Vale next to St Johns Wood.

On Tuesday - we will take the express train under the English Channel to Belgium. Wednesday we fly home - Brussels to Atlanta to Tallahassee. The reason we fly home from Belgium is because it is only $500 - versus $1500 from London.

On the map you can see - Hyde Park -
Abbey Road Studio - and Regent's Park.
The blue dot is us.

Alan Turing - defeated the Germans
by cracking the Enigma Code

A blue sign is on Turing's home

See his story here - Alan Turing Story
