Everhart 8 Meet in Richmond - Watch the Seminoles Pound Clemson in Death Valley on TV

It is a weekend Lulu has been planning a long time. She flew to Washington last week to visit come interns. Then Friday she drove to Richmond to pick him up at the airport. Keith and Liz drove down from DC - and well - Drew and his family live here.

Recently the Seminole have not had good luck traveling up north at night on national TV. This time it was different. FSU started out hot - getting a fumble on the first series - then scoring a touchdown second later.

All night the announcer were praising FSU's freshman quarterback Jameis Winston. He did not disappoint - throwing for 444 yards - 3 passing touchdowns - and running one in himself.

Clemson calls their stadium Death Valley. It is very noisy there when the Tigers are winning. Last night they did not even come close to breaking the all time football barrier. By the time the 4th quarter arrived  - the place was pretty empty.

The game ended around midnight and there were Everhart lying all over the living room - full of food - relieved that we did not blow the game.

FSU has to play Miami and Florida yet - two arch rivals. We have about 10 visits coming to our house for the Miami game - the game against the Gators is in the Swamp.

Good news for us - we booked 2 tickets for Drew and Jack to come to our house for the Idaho game. Jack is very interested in our new house project. We want Jack to see the house before while it is still under construction. Drew too.

Drew and Keith have already planned to see the Seminoles play at Wake Forest.

We expect the Seminoles to be ranked number 3 in the nation with Alabama and Oregon ahead of them. It will probably take one of those schools losing for FSU to be in the title game. That is if FSU wins all their games. They have 6 more to go - then an ACC championship game in Charlotte - if they win out.

Keith and Liz have already driven back to Washington. We will leave Richmond at 4 PM - getting home some time around.

This Saturday is Bobby Bowden Day back at Doak Campbell Stadium. FSU play NCSU - and it is Bobby's first return to the stadium since he was fired a few years ago.

Lulu is already tuning up her new Roadtrek camper for a trip to Pasadena's Rose Bowl.
