1994 Dodge B250 Conversion Van

Here is the van after the paint job. It came out pretty good. It still needs a few trim pieces - but all and all - it looks great. Maaco painted it. It took longer than expected but they were busy with another van. I plan to paint the wheels silver. I know - conversion vans are so 90's.

This is the short van chassis. It has a raised top. It needs a black trim strip to go in the channel between the body and roof.

Lulu would like the windows tinted very dark so that we could remove the curtains.

The 4 captains chairs are in good shape for being 18 years old and having 109,000 miles on them.

It has a V-6 engine - and 3 speed automatic transmission. Not much else - a radio and television

The 4 captains chairs recline. The third row bench seat is missing.  With new paint - new windshield - tax - tag - title - we have $2200 into it.

The van was the only car of an 85 year old couple for 18 years. They took good care of it. They just moved to Oregon to be with their family. It took a while to straighten out the title - because of a computer mistake in the DMV in South Carolina. We now have a current Florida title for the van.

The dodge van cost $17,000 new

The conversion added another $19,000 to the deal - total cost $36,000. They drove it for 16 years - that means it cost them $2000 a year.
